在西甲第9轮比赛中，费兰-托雷斯受伤被换下场，卡瓦哈尔不幸遭遇十字韧带断裂重伤，预计赛季报销。西班牙国家队表示，除了卡瓦哈尔外，费兰-托雷斯也将因伤缺席本月的两场比赛。
德拉富恩特额外征召了两名新国脚加入国家队，分别是奥萨苏纳前锋萨拉戈萨和赫罗纳前锋布莱恩-希尔。两人将在本周一加入西班牙队的集训营。
