11月28日讯 多家媒体报道称，范尼已经和莱斯特城达成协议。德国天空体育名记普莱滕伯格也确认，范尼即将成为莱斯特城的新任主教练，双方只差最后的一些细节有待协商。

汉堡的部分管理层也将范尼视为新帅的绝对首要人选。不过，他即将出任莱斯特城主帅，蓝狐可能会在本周正式官宣。

上个月，范尼卸任了曼联临时主帅，期间战绩保持不败。在球员生涯中，范尼在2010-11赛季短暂效力过汉堡一年，期间出场44次，打进17球、助攻3次。
